Lions Towels

The Lions of Georgia over the history of community service within the state, proudly presented the products of the state to Lions Clubs International. From the promotion of Square Dancing at the Georgia Jamboree each year at the International Convention of Lions Clubs to gifting of Georgia Peaches and Georgia Peanuts at various events.

Until recently the Textile Industry was a well know product of the state of Georgia. The Lions of Georgia for many years gave towels as a memento of service given to the communities in Georgia by the Georgia Districts and even many Lions clubs gave towels to recognize the service of club leaders. Each year the Lions of Georgia provides towels to the International Board as a thank you for the leaders of Lionism in the world. All towels are well made with the spirit of service and the words "Georgia Lions". Each year the towel until 2004 was embossed with a figure of a Lion or in some years a trio of Lions, Lion, Lioness and a Lion Cub.

More recently as the Georgia Mills were no longer able to produce embossed towels, these towels are now Embroidered. Show below or some of the towels the Lions of Georgia shared with the world.
